‘Electric Sea’ is a new, signed and embossed SellFable print. A digital drawing, inspired by uncertainty, meditation, the here and now.
A solitary SellFable wirehead, android, or electric fae, sits in the middle of a seemingly endless electric sea. Tiny city systems glow on floating discs, and light her immediate surroundings. What does her expression tell us? Is she meditating? Sad? Lost? Why is she there, and how did she end up out there? The curling wires on the back of her head, like antennae probing the air, seem to search for answers. Eager for a signal, a sign, or any kind of input to decode and process.
‘Electric Sea’ is inspired by uncertainty. Sometimes it’s hard to find out which way to go. The drawing deals with a specific state of being: accepting the here and now, even if it’s just there for a single moment. A moment of coming at peace with simply ‘not knowing’, and opening up the mind completely and without prejudice. All systems open for endless possibilities, the surf of flowing electric currents.
