“Fragile Things” – A Sanctuary for Vulnerable Emotions in the SellFable Universe
Fragile Things is a striking contemporary art series—three singular, hand-engraved relics titled Doubt, Unease, and Longing—each a sanctuary for the vulnerable emotions that define us. Blending classical copper engraving techniques with modern plexiglass and LED illumination, these one-of-a-kind artworks evoke dioramas and birdhouses, symbolizing protected spaces for our most delicate feelings.
Created by Dutch artist Daniel van Nes (The SellFable Archivist) in response to today’s fractured world—political upheaval, societal divisions, and the rise of AI—this collection asks: What remains of our humanity? In the dystopian SellFable universe, where emotion is often erased, these illuminated vaults preserve the essence of human experience, inviting viewers to pause and reflect on what it means to be human in an era of data and division.
Unique, thought-provoking, and deeply relevant, Fragile Things stands as a poignant commentary on contemporary life, offering a rare moment of introspection amidst the noise. Discover this limited-edition series, where art meets urgent social dialogue.
A Note from the SellFable Archivist:
“In the SellFable universe, these relics—’Doubt,’ ‘Unease,’ and ‘Longing’—are revered as sacred artifacts, encapsulating the essence of emotions that have become rare and precious in a world where humanity is often forgotten. As The Archivist, I recognize these illuminated engravings as vital remnants, preserving the delicate threads of human sentiment that weave the fabric of our identity amidst the digital and dystopian landscapes of SellFable.
“Fragile Things” invites viewers to pause and contemplate the delicate nature of these feelings, offering a sanctuary for introspection and a reminder of the emotions that define our humanity.”
