In September 2025, I collaborated with the exceptional guitarist Florian Magnus Maier to activate a live portal into the SellFable Universe—the shadowed, cinematic realm where identity, and reality blur, offering escapism to a society hurtling blindly toward the future. As the SellFable Archivist, I transformed the public space into a threshold between worlds during , blending drawing and experimental sound into an immersive, real-time performance.
A dynamic, 5 x 1.5-meter drawing that served as both a visual narrative and a reactive canvas. The artwork depicted a machine activating a gateway to the SellFable universe, with a SellFablean creature suspended in the swirling vortex of transition.
My charcoal drawings, , transformed the ancient medium into a living soundscape—where the raw, tactile strokes of charcoal became sonic waves, to forge an . The result was a raw, energetic convergence of art and sound, experienced in real time by an unsuspecting audience consisting of the station’s passersby and travellers.
To anchor the experience in the SellFable mythos, I carried my SellFable suitcase—both artifact and invitation—while “tickets” were offered to passersby, framing their presence as part of the journey. The drawing itself embedded a hidden layer: a hexadecimal poem, woven into the composition as a series of numbers. For those familiar with the SellFable language, these elements offered a coded narrative, adding depth and mystery to the visual experience.
This project continues the exploration of the SellFable universe, and interdisciplinary storytelling, where visual art, sound, and audience participation intersect. The residue of the experience lingers: the hum of the vortex, the tension between control and improvisation, and the to transport us—if only briefly—beyond the everyday.
